We went out to see some friends the other evening and this is the little gift I made for them (her really - lol !!!)
This little box was downloaded from the Silhouette store, which I cut and assembled with ease! I filled it with lovely choccies and finished it off with a chocolate box bow made from Stampin' Up Seam Binding Ribbon.
Happy crafting.

Sewn felt balls!
Hello Friends,
Yesterday we had terrible trouble with the internet, we didn't manage to get on-line until the middle of the afternoon, I felt like my right arm had been removed!
I spent some time tidying up my craft room and then decided to do some good old fashioned stitching!
A while a go I saw this post by the lovely Stephanie Ackerman and had it in mind to stitch some happy balls too!
These are my first two.........
I made the round green one first and then the heart shaped one. I left some cotton in the middle of the heart so that I could hang it if I wanted, the bottom picture is my happy little heart hanging from my door handle.
It took me a little while to get into sewing blanket stitch, as I don't think I've done it for years and years, but now I'm all fired up to have a basket full of them by Christmas, so I'll be getting really good at it soon - lol !!!
I expect I'll be off to Mason's in Abingdon in the morning for more felt!
Happy sewing,
Carole
