We went out to see some friends the other evening and this is the little gift I made for them (her really - lol !!!)
This little box was downloaded from the Silhouette store, which I cut and assembled with ease! I filled it with lovely choccies and finished it off with a chocolate box bow made from Stampin' Up Seam Binding Ribbon.

Sewn felt balls!
Hello Friends,
Yesterday we had terrible trouble with the internet, we didn't manage to get on-line until the middle of the afternoon, I felt like my right arm had been removed!
I spent some time tidying up my craft room and then decided to do some good old fashioned stitching!
A while a go I saw this post by the lovely Stephanie Ackerman and had it in mind to stitch some happy balls too!
These are my first two.........
I made the round green one first and then the heart shaped one. I left some cotton in the middle of the heart so that I could hang it if I wanted, the bottom picture is my happy little heart hanging from my door handle.
It took me a little while to get into sewing blanket stitch, as I don't think I've done it for years and years, but now I'm all fired up to have a basket full of them by Christmas, so I'll be getting really good at it soon - lol !!!
I expect I'll be off to Mason's in Abingdon in the morning for more felt!
