Summer Card Camp 2 - Day 2, Week 1

Hello Friends,

You should see my crafting space - it's shocking!!!  I am really surprised to be posting a card today as I messed up the first card I was making and decided to "down tools"!  I sat in the sunshine enjoying a nice glass of white, calmed myself down and started again.  This is the card I made after the super inspiration from the class I enjoyed today.....

To keep in line with the class rules, I used the same colour combination as yesterday's card, adding Always Artichoke ink for the leaves and stem of the flower and Melon Mambo for the flower head.  We were shown a great way to ink up a stamp in different colours today, which is much easier than using markers!

I cut a hexagon stencil using Silhouette Stencil vinyl on my Silhouette Cameo, which I can use over and over again.

Hope you find some time to craft soon.

  1. love how you did your card - great design and use of the colors!

  2. Really like your card, love the way you used the colors and that butterfly is just the right touch.

  3. I LOVE this!! The background ROCKS and I am in love with that flower. Fabulous card!!
