Silhouette Rhinestones & Silhouette UK Design Team

Hello Friends,

Little old me has some BIG news to share with you all......

.....I applied to be on the Design Team for Silhouette UK a couple of weeks ago and out of lots and lots of applications (more than 60, I believe), I was one of two ladies chosen :)!  I can't tell you all how chuffed to bits I am.  I've actually known for almost a week now and have been working away at my first assignment.

I volunteered to have a "professional" play with the Silhouette Rhinestones and have enjoyed every moment playing with them.  Don't get me wrong, there have been lots of ups & a few downs actually, whilst trying to get used to something I haven't designed with or used before but I love them!

I kept calm and took it easy on myself whilst I was learning the best ways to do what I said I'd do ;) and came up with a few projects that I'll share with you over the next few days.

I've chosen this little set to share first, it's a card and a gift tag to match.....

For this card and gift tag set, I used the Rhinestone Star cutting file which comes included in the Silhouette Rhinestone Starter Kit, along with some extra Rhinestones.  I used the Silhouette Rhinestone Setter tool to 'hot fix' the crystals.  I made the rhinestone border myself in the Silhouette software.

The greeting was written using my Silhouette Cameo, I used a pen tool and pen from my stash.  The card stock and papers are also from my stash.

I hope you like this first project of mine, designed for Silhouette UK - (still can't believe they picked me!).

Happy Silhouette crafting.

Carole x
