My MISTI and me!

Hello Friends,

I couldn't resist getting a MISTI (Most Incredible Stamping Tool Invented)!   I've had it for almost a fortnight and "imjustlovinit"!  If you'd like one, then here is the link ;)!

It really is the most incredible stamping tool invented, for sure!

There are many videos on YouTube, if you want to see one in action, but in the mean time here is a simple card I made using mine.....

Happy crafting and thanks for popping by today.

Tent fold birthday card - Blooming with Kindness, Stampin' Up

Hello Friends

I'm back with another tent fold card today....

It's a little bit different form yesterday's version, this time the front panel is larger.  I'm not sure which I like best, this one or the one I shared with you yesterday!

I used the Blooming with Kindness stamp set again from Stampin' Up, I wish that set wasn't retiring!  I also used Stampin' Up card stock, ink and seam binding ribbon.  The paper is another Maja design paper.

Hope you like my card today.

Happy crafting.

Blooming with Kindness - Tent fold wedding card

Hello Friends,

I saw a tent fold card, with a bit of a difference the other day and decided to have a go at making one.

I used Maja Design paper, Stampin' Up card stock and ink, the stamped sentiment is a very old one from Hero Arts and the "congratulations" was cut using my Silhouette Cameo.

I'm really pleased with how the card turned out.

I've a birthday card version to share with you tomorrow ;)!

Happy crafting and thanks for stopping by to look today.

Silhouette Cameo lessons UK - Golden Wedding Card

Hello Friends,

As I mentioned in my post yesterday, I'm trying to catch you all up with some of the cards I made for friends and family whilst I was busy developing my new Silhouette lesson for Version 3 of the Silhouette Studio Software.

Today I'm sharing a card with you that I made for one of my ladies who was looking for inspiration. She was going to a Golden wedding celebration and needed a card idea.

Although I didn't actually use my Silhouette Cameo to make this card, I did use the software to design it!  Any carpenter will tell you to "measure twice and cut once", which is what I'm able to do by designing my cards using the Silhouette Software, even if I'm actually going to use some of the old dies I bought before I invested in my Cameo!

I hope my card inspires you today.

Happy Silhouette crafting.

Silhouette Cameo - Tuition

Hello Friends,

Whilst I was busy developing my all new Version 3 lesson plan, I did make and send a few cards that I didn't get round to posting on here.  This is a picture of a card I made for my friends 60th birthday.  It was inspired by my new friend Doreen, the lady who came down for a lesson with me from Preston!

When Doreen got all the way back home to Preston, she asked me a couple of questions about this Owl file.  It was one she got as a freebie from the Silhouette Store, one which I must have had at the same time and to be able to fully answer her questions, I cut it.   So as not to waste it, I decided to use it on my friends card (she is a wise owl and has taught lots in her life, so I thought it seemed perfect!).

I hope you like the card.

Happy Silhouette crafting.

Silhouette Cameo Offset function - Birthday card

Hello Friends,

I'm back today to share a birthday card with you.  It was my friend Peg's birthday yesterday and this is the card I made for her, using my Silhouette Cameo.....

Just lately, one of my favourite tools/features/functions of the Silhouette Studio software is called "Offset".  For Peg's card I made all those little shapes and then used the "Internal Offset" function to draw those dashes and dots around each piece, using my Stampin' Up pen, in the "Pen/Tool Holder" I bought from Thyme Graphics.  The greeting was downloaded from the Silhouette store and was drawn with the same Stampin' Up pen.

I hope you like the card I made.

Wishing you all a happy crafty time with your Silhouette machine!

Silhouette Cameo lessons - new lesson plan

Hello everyone,

I know it's been far too long since I posted!  All I can say is that I've been busy and had a wonderful two week holiday!

I've been busy developing a new lesson plan for Version 3 of the Silhouette Studio software.  I'm now issuing the ladies who attend my lessons an instruction guide, complete with screen shots to help them, when they get home, remember what they did ;)!

Since designing and developing this new class I have given two lessons.  Firstly a lovely lady came all the way down to me from Preston in Lancashire and then last week, I had another lovely lady come over from Buckinghamshire.  Both ladies enjoyed their day and liked the cards they made.  I've also had great feedback on the document I produced for them.

Here is one of the cards and a little treat bag that are made in my class....

The class covers all the basics and how I design and produce my cards.  If you'd like details of my lessons, please email me, my email address is over in the side bar on the right.

I hope you can make it over to Oxfordshire soon for a day of Silhouette crafting with me.
