Take 2....Silhouette Cameo Triple Layer Card

Hi Friends,

I've had another go at the Triple Layer card to try and make it a little bit better...........

I was a little more careful with my stamping and I made the mats slightly larger, thanks to my Silhouette Cameo!

On this card I also spent extra time stamping and cutting another flower, which I embossed from behind to give it a bit more depth.  I then painted it and added some Glossy Accents by Ranger.

The card was finished off with just a bit of sparkle (Dazzling Diamonds from Stampin' Up).

Triple Layer Card - Silhouette Cameo

Hello my friends,

I've been surfing the internet and there are lots of these triple layer cards around.  I think it must be a favourite amongst Stampin' Up demonstrators at the moment.

I'm not happy to do an ordinary version though, I had to make the idea a little more challenging, which is why I've made mine using my lovely Silhouette Cameo.

I am pretty pleased with how it turned out.  I think it is always worth the effort to take the time to mask off the main images (the flowers in this case), so that the background stamps don't show through.

I think I've made my mats a little small, you can see a slight mistake on the bottom left flower where the stepping of mats has shown!  I can easily change this in the software so it won't happen next time.

Silhouette Cameo Heart Thanks Card

We have been invited to a wedding in Paris, unfortunately it looks like we won't be able to make the wedding, as we will be up to our eyes in other stuff at the same time, it is a shame but it is the way it goes sometimes.

I've made this lovely reply card using my Silhouette Cameo to send to them..........

I used the "loopy hearts card base" which I downloaded from Silhouette America and changed it from the hearts and loops running along the bottom to the hearts and loops running down the right hand side.

The Silhouette Cameo software makes changes to designs easy, don't forget I can give you individual tuition on how to do all of this if you live locally to me, here in Oxfordshire, UK.

Stretch your Stamps - Day 8

I've been working on the layout that I am going to be showing at my Abingdon Crop this weekend.  I found additional inspiration yesterday when we were taught about using label stamps.  The background label, cut out using my Silhouette Cameo, is a scanned in image of a stamp (which I learned from this great class).  The sentiment I have used on top says: "Find JOY in Simple Things" and is from a set I bought recently from Hero Arts called "Things (4)".

The inspiration for the layout came from scrapbook generation.

I've got day 9 of Stretch your stamps to try now, so I'd better get on and craft some more!
